Clay B. Miller, 75, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 11:02 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2024 in Memorial Hospital. Clay was born on January 29, 1949 in New Carlisle, Indiana to James and Mildred (Scott) Miller. He served in the United States (Army Reserves) from (1972-1974). Clay retired in 2001 from the Heat and Frost Insulators Local#75, where he was employed as a Mechanical Insulator for over 30 years.
He is survived by two sons, Doug (Marcy) Miller and Andrew (Courtney) Miller both of South Bend, Indiana; five grandchildren, Helen, Ava, Kaitlynn, Hayden and Avery; and his former wife of 19 years, Sharon Miller. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, James and Craig Miller.
Clay enjoyed being outside whether it was milling logs, cutting wood, or working on his tractors. He also loved shooting his guns, going to auctions, and most importantly spending time with his dog Cedar.
A visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2024 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana. Private burial will take place in New Carlisle Cemetery.
