Charles (Chuck) Christopher DeCleene, 59, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.  He was born on March 28, 1964 in South Bend, Indiana to Frank Martin DeCleene, Jr. and Dolores (Meuleman) DeCleene, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jim DeCleene. He is survived by his siblings, Scott (Michele) DeCleene, Sherry DeCleene, Tom (Kris) DeCleene, Doug (Connie) DeCleene, Sarah DeCleene, Bud (Kate) DeCleene and Rob DeCleene; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and his two cats, Ozzy and Harriett.

Chuck was a 1982 graduate of John Adams High School and received his Associate’s Degree from Davenport College.  He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran serving in Las Vegas and Germany. After leaving the military, Chuck lived in Hardeeville, SC for many years where he had a successful career at Lowe's.

Chuck enjoyed cooking and posting his food photos for friends and family to see.  He loved animals and gardening.  He was a lifelong Notre Dame and Bears football fan, and was a devoted follower of the Grateful Dead. Chuck was quite proud of his Belgian heritage. He was the funniest of all of his siblings and made many friends throughout his life. In 2022, Chuck moved to Kokomo to return to his Hoosier roots and be near family and old friends. He was dedicated to his Catholic faith and enjoyed his last day volunteering at his parish.
