Carol L. Warren Obituary

Carol L. Warren, 80, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born on November 9, 1942 in Cassopolis, Michigan to the late Max and Alta (Bruens) Dokey, Sr. Carol was also preceded in death by one son, Stephen Warren and her brother, Roger Dokey. On July 20, 1963, Carol married James E. Warren, who survives. She is also survived by one daughter, Darlene (Michael) Van Tubbergen of South Bend, Indiana, two sons, Jeff (Tammy Held) Dokey of South Bend, Indiana, Jamie (Tanya) E. Warren of Mishawaka, Indiana, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one sister, Lorraine Yarbrough of Stuart, Florida, and one brother, Max (Mary Jane) Dokey of Mishawaka, Indiana.

Carol was an avid Notre Dame Football and Women’s Basketball fan. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, going to the casino and most of all spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life for Carol will be held at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Carol’s honor. Online condolences may be left at www.kaniewski.com.
