Carol Jean (Nemeth) Lochmondy

Carol Jean (Nemeth) Lochmondy, 88, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025. She was born on April 4, 1937 in South Bend, Indiana. On November 23, 1957 she married William J. Lochmondy, Sr. who survives. Carol is also survived by two daughters, Brenda S. Schrock of South Bend, Indiana, Kimberly A. Lochmondy of South Bend, Indiana, two sons, Bryan K. (Barbara) Lochmondy of LaPorte, Indiana, Dennis M. Lochmondy of South Bend, Indiana, four grandchildren, Julie L. (Landon) White, Amy D. (Timothy) Diekmann, William J. (Brittany) Schrock and Robert J. (Joseph) Schrock, nine great grandchildren, Parker, Lincoln, Emily, Sadie, Katie, Emmy, Avery, Hunter, Sam and one great grand child on the way. Carol was preceded in death by one son, William J. Lochmondy, Jr. and her mother Irene V. Nemeth.

A visitation for Carol will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2822 Corpus Christi Dr, South Bend, IN from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am in the church. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice in Carol’s honor.
