Carl Wayne Grohowski

Carl Wayne Grohowski, 65, of Cassopolis, Michigan passed away unexpectedly, Monday, April 14, 2025 at his home.  Carl was born on April 22, 1959 in Three Rivers, Michigan to Sylvester and Beatrice (Kopinski) Grohowski. Carl had been a lifelong farmer.  He retired on April 1, 2024 from Totzke Farms.  He is survived by his partner, Julie Daum and her children, Jessica Daum and Melanie Lintz;  grandchildren, Zander, Christopher and Aridessa; his brother, Dale Grohowski of Cassopolis, Michigan; his cousin, Kenneth Grohowski of South Bend, Indiana; and by many other cousins and close family members. Carl was preceded in death by his parents Sylvester and Beatrice Grohowski; and granddaughter, Audrey.  A Catholic Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana.  A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.  Carl was a 1977 graduate of Ross Beatty High School. He was a big fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Notre Dame Sports. Memorial Contributions should be directed to the Corwell Health Hospice and Palliative Care – Royalton or Plant a Tree through the Kaniewski Funeral Home website in honor of Carl.
