Bonnie J. Gleissner

Bonnie J. Gleissner, 86, of New Carlisle, passed away on Saturday August 15, 2026, in her home.  She was born on July 18, 1940, in LaPorte, IN, to the late Benjamin Michael and Donnabelle Lucille (Proud) Neumann.  On October 17, 1992 she married Michael Gleissner, who survives.  Also surviving Bonnie are her three daughters, Rhonda Miller of New Carlisle, Tammy Dockins of Holland, MI and Tricia Smith of Baroda, MI; six grandchildren, Jacob Johnson, Jenna DeZwaan, Brent Dockins and Braeden, Gavin and Owen Smith; five great-grandchildren, Madelyn Preston and Liam DeZwaan, Jonah, Carter and Gracelyn Johnson and by two brothers, Charles (Sheila) Neuman of Galien, MI and Douglas (Sue) Neumann of South Bend.  Mrs. Gleissner worked as a Binder for Carlton Printing and also worked for the New Carlisle Public Library before retiring.  She enjoyed playing pool, reading, sunbathing, boating on Hudson Lake and enjoying her morning coffee on the front porch with the neighbors.  There will be no visitation, cremation will take place.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.   Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN  46545-5234.
