Benjamin Cantu, Jr.

Benjamin Cantu, Jr. 64, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 in his home.  Benjamin was born on May 23, 1959 in Houston, Texas to Benjamin and Rosie (Perez) Cantu.  He retired from the Marriot, where he was employed in the Maintenance Department. He was also a handyman.  Benjamin is survived by his daughter, Erin (Israel) Orozco; his son Shane (Alyssa) Cantu; five grandchildren, Liliana Cantu, Kaia Cantu, Mila Orozco, Lola Orozco and Ella Orozco; one sister, Lupe Cantu; and one brother, Ralph Cantu all of South Bend, Indiana.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Steve Cantu.   Benjamin loved his dog Zoey. Funeral Services will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2023 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana where a visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
