Barbara R. Wesolowski

Barbara R. Wesolowski, 92, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Wellbrooke of South Bend. On July 8, 1950 she married Edward F. Wesolowski who preceded her in death on January 17, 2004. She was also preceded in death by one son, Thomas Wesolowski, one daughter, Karen Penn and one great grandson, Aaron Batten. Barbara is survived by one son, Craig E. (Jean) Wesolowski of Elkhart, Indiana, five grandchildren, Tracy (Brian) McKenzie, Christopher Wesolowski, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Batten, Lauren Wesolowski Nicole Wesolowski and seven great grandchildren, Athan, Eva, Al, Emma, Aidan, Abby and Randi.

Barbara loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed watching Notre Dame football and the Chicago White Sox baseball games. The family would like to extend a deep gratitude and thanks to the staff at Wellbrooke of South Bend and the Tradition’s Hospice Care for the excellent care and comfort that they provided to Barbara.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday November 11, 2024 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN. A rosary will be prayed during the visitation. A Catholic funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in the funeral home with visitation for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Tradition’s Hospice, 3555 Park Pl W #100, Mishawaka, IN 46545 in Barbara’s honor.
