Alfred Leroy Cleveland, Jr, 67, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022. He was born July 9, 1955 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Alfred Mary Pearl Cleveland, Jr. Alfred was married to Catherine Barton. He is survived by two daughters, Caitlin Cleveland of South Bend, Indiana, Joycelle Smith of South Bend, Indiana, three sons, Alfred Cleveland of Omaha, Nebraska, Brandon and Patrick Cleveland both of Spokane, Washington, twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild, one sister, Angela Cleveland and one brother John Strader.

Alfred was a veteran of the United States Air Force. In the Air Forced he received his education to become an orthopedic surgeon. He was an worked as a surgeon for twenty years. He worked at The Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and Fort Wayne Hospital. Alfred loved being a father and grandfather.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 11, 2023 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN at 10:00 am. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses. Online condolences may be left at www.kaniewski.com
