Virginia Roberta Wigley, 86 of South Bend, passed away on October 6 at Healthwin Specialized Care Facility. She was born on May 13,1931 in French Lick, IN to Ollie Otis and Lydia K. (Miller) Belcher. In 1951 she married Warren Richardson of Dunlap, IN. They later divorced. On July 13, 1961 Virginia married Philip A. Wigley, who preceded her in death on April 28, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her son Philip R.Richardson on April 16,1982, Two sisters Delores Hazlett and Ruth Tilley as well as three grandchildren, Christina Wigley, Philip Matthew Morehouse, and Lacy Marie Morehouse. Virginia is survived by her Three Daughters, Sharon (Chris) Harding of Mechanicsville, VA  Cindi Mae (Jim) Gloster,Of South Bend,and Lydia Wigley of Granger; Daughter in Law Sandy Richardson of Rolling Meadows, IL. Her son Paul (Sue) Richardson of Nashville, TN. ten grandchildren, Timothy ( Krisan) Richardson of Aurora, IL, Jessica Richardson of Rolling Meadows, IL, Ronald (Jennifer) Morehouse III, Teresa (Jack) Gorney, Anthony VanAcker of South Bend, Ashley VanAcker, Emily (Chris) Rittenhouse and Ethan VanAcker of Granger, IN; Two sisters Grace (Millard) Bishop of Youngsville, NC., Joyce Pitts of Hawaii, and by a brother Jack Belcher of Cambodia. Mrs Wigley attended Sonlight Fellowship Wesleyan Church and lived for God. she cherished all the memories of her travels as an Army wife. She enjoyed crafting, gardening and mostly memorizing scripture, One of her favorites being 1 John 4:12. A visitation will be held from 10 to noon on Friday October 13 at the Sonlight Fellowship Wesleyan Church, 3702 South Michigan St., South Bend,IN where services will follow at noon, Burial services will follow at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Sonlight Fellowship Wesleyan Church, or to the Healthwin Specialized Care Activities Department.
