Virginia Detwiler

Virginia Detwiler, 99, of New Carlisle passed on Sunday. She was born August 18, 1919 to the late Edmund and Anna (Mueller) Verstraete. On August 17, 1946 she married Harold Detwiler, preceding her in death on March 29, 1962. Also preceding in death were sisters, Anna Davidson, Rosemary Kellogg and Ida Halassy and a brother, Clarence Verstraete. Survivors include nieces, Joyce Hesch of New Carlisle and Sally Wienke of Wadsworth, IL and several great nieces and nephews. Private services will be at Kaniewski Funeral Home, New Carlisle.
