Rommel A. Thomas

Rommel A. Thomas, 58, of Chicago, IL, passed away on Monday November 11, 2019.  He was born on May 10, 1958 in Chicago to the late Polk and Barbara Thomas.  In 1992, he married Vickie Thomas, who survives.  Also surviving are his children, Rommel Thomas Jr. of South Bend, Doris Thomas of Indianapolis and Ike Thomas of South Bend and host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brothers, Andre and Gregory Polk; sisters, Wendy and Vanessa Polk, all of Chicago and many extended family.  Rommel played football for Eagle High School in Chicago.  He was baptized in 1996 at the Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Mounds, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am CST Saturday November 16, 2019 at the Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Mounds, IL.
