Lorraine M. Leszcz, 91, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in Memorial Hospital.  She was born on October 14, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana to Casmier and Sadie (Bartkowiak) Paprocki, and was a lifelong resident.  Lorraine and her husband had owned the Silver Dollar Saloon on Western Avenue.  On June 22, 1946, in St. Stanislaus Church, she married Alex J. Leszcz, who preceded her in death on February 12, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Leszcz; and three sisters, Lucille Hanyzewski, Florence Colpaert, and Henrietta Glod.  Lorraine is survived by two daughters, Sandra K. (David) Fisher of Pleasanton, California and Carol D. (Paul) Marvin of Monticello, Indiana; her son, Kenneth A. Leszcz of South Bend, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Paul Marvin, Brian Marvin, Rob McDaniel, Tracy Fisher, Heather Fisher, Neil Fisher, Andrew Leszcz, William Leszcz, and Jay Leszcz; and three great-grandchildren, Austin, Xander, and Camden.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 in Holy Cross Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Saturday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive.  Lorraine was a member of Holy Cross/St. Stanislaus Parish.  She was also a member of the Holy Cross Altar and Rosary Society and Christ Child at Corpus Christi Church.  Lorraine was an avid bridge player and a skilled seamstress. Her greatest joy was sewing clothes for needy children and making elaborate costumes and dresses for her children and grandchildren. To send online condolences, please visit kaniewski.com
