Leslie "Norm" Mork, 95, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019. Norm was born on April 11, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to Norman Arthur and Mabel (Cherrie) Mork. He had been employed as an Accountant with Continental Can Company for 30 years. On June 28, 1947 he married Dorothy L. McIntosh, who preceded him in death on January 21, 2018. Norm is survived by his daughter, Janet (Michael) Mork Bailey of New Carlisle, Indiana; three sons, David (Penyen Li) Mork of East Lansing, Michigan, Richard Mork of Clermont, Florida, and Bruce Mork of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; and by three grandchildren, Philip (Aixa Aleman-Diaz) Kao, Jeff Bailey and Jason Bailey. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. E.S.T. Saturday, May 25, 2019 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert Street, New Carlisle, Indiana. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Navy at 4:00 p.m. E.S.T. Saturday in the funeral home. Norm served in the United States Navy during W.W.II and the Korean War. He was a 50 year member of the Azure Lodge No. 1153 A.F. & A.M. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Family Support or the charity of the donor's choice.
