Joyce Jannasch Obituary

                Joyce M. Jannasch, 87, was called to heaven on Tuesday April 10 in Elkhart, Indiana. Her funeral service will be held this Saturday April 14 at Kaniewski Funeral Home in South Bend at 11 am. The service will be preceded by a public visitation on Friday evening from 4-8 pm at Kaniewski Funeral Home.

                Born on April 22, 1930 in South Bend to Raymond and Elizabeth (Lynch) Summersgill. She worked for the South Bend School Corporation until she retired. She will be remembered as a devoted mother. Beautiful and loving grandmother. The most hardcore Notre Dame Irish fan you have ever met. A believer that any problem could be solved with a glass of red wine and some Frank Sinatra. Joyce was truly a woman beyond words.

                Joyce is preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman E. Jannasch in 2006. She is survived by her son Dirk Jannasch and three daughters Donalyn (Dave) Schalk, Diane (John) Qualizza, and Darla (Gary) Shuder; seven grandchildren Ryan (Julia) Wozniak, Jason (Kayla) Wozniak, Kelilyn (Joe) Nowicki, Ashton Schalk, Taylor Jannasch, Shannon Schalk, and McKenna Jannasch; two great grandchildren Brexley and Reeslynn Wozniak; and sister Donna Rae Zoller.
