.John G. Antonucci, Sr. 87, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Monday April 3, 2017, at Signature Health Care in Bremen, Indiana. John was born on January 5, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John and Margaret (Bilek) Antonucci. On February 29, 1953 John married Rose Marie Talerico. They shared 62 years of marriage until her death on May 30, 2015. John is survived by one daughter; Jaime Frazier of Conifer, Colorado; two sons, John (Deborah) Antonucci of Bremen, Indiana, and Christopher (Linda) Antonucci of New Carlisle, Indiana; five grandchildren Melissa (Jesse) Winefeldt, Mark (Kathy) Frazier II, Michael Frazier, John (Tara) Antonucci IV, and Adrianne (Josh) Esquibel; five great grandchildren; Jake Winefeldt, Hunter Merriman, Callie Antonucci, and Bella and Matteo Esquibel; one sister Kathryn Simpson of Southlake, Texas. John was also preceded in death by one son in law Mark Frazier. John was an Army Veteran, having served in Germany during World War II. He was a lifelong carpenter and co-owner of Antonucci General Contractors. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, and served on The New Carlisle Volunteer Fire Department from 1965-1985. John loved to spend time at Cedar Lake in Marcellus, Michigan with his family; they were his pride and joy. Visitation for John will be on Friday April 7, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m EST in the Kaniewski Funeral Home 201. S. Filbert St, New Carlisle, Indiana. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 8 at 10:00 am Est. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Burial will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery with military honors.
