Janice M. (Portwood) Murphy

Janice M. Murphy, 71, of Fort Wayne, IN, was reunited with her beloved husband of 53 years, James J. Murphy, on Monday, October 30, 2017.

She was born on December 15, 1945 in Moweaqua, IL.

Janice is survived by her two daughters, Michelle (Peter) Kramp of Stevensville, MI; Julie (Jason Sawyer) Murphy of Waukesha, WI; four grandchildren, Joseph Kramp, Isaiah Kramp, Lillian Kramp; Lucas Sawyer; and one sister Anna Cleveland of Pendleton, IN.

Janice loved playing Bingo. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, with Pastor Kevin Boushek officiating. Friends and family may visit ½ hour prior to services.
