Glenn “Trey” Zubler III, 33, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Tuesday May, 15, 2018. Trey was born on December 26, 1984. He attended Holy Cross grade school and graduated from St. Joseph High School. He enlisted in the United States Naval service where he was stationed at Stennis Space Center in MS. Trey relocated to Delray Beach, FL where he began his entrepreneurship career and met his future wife. On December 24, 2015 he married Eleanor Bowers who survives along with his two sons; Parker James and Carter Douglas Zubler. Trey was a loving father and husband.
He is also survived by his parents Glenn (Kristin) Zubler Jr. of Katy, TX and Tomme Owens of South Bend, IN; three siblings Heather (Noah) Schumacher of New London, CT, April (Michael) Barricklow of South Bend, IN, and Jacob Zubler of Denver, CO; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Patricia Zubler of South Bend, IN, maternal grandmother, LaBerta Marie Burrow-Douglas of Gold Canyon, AZ. Trey was preceded in death by his stepfather Charles Radcliff, and maternal grandfather Thomas E. Owens.
He was larger than life, fun, charismatic and spoke with intention. He gave anything to others who needed it more, showing how caring he was. He was an avid Notre Dame Football fan. He never shied away from new experiences. He had a passion for intellectual debate. Family was the most important thing to him which led him to being an amazing father.
Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 pm on Saturday May 19, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home 3545 N. Bendix Dr, South Bend. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
