Earl G. Adnson, 89, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away at 5:07 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018, in Hospice House.  Earl was born on April 1, 1928 in LaPorte County to Earl Leroy and Georgiana (Fritzen) Adnson.  He retired in May 1988 from the O'Brien Paint and Varnish Company in South Bend, Indiana. On August 16, 1947 he married Betty J. Wagner, who preceded him in death on February 18, 2012.  Earl is survived by his daughter, Debbie Hilberg of Michigan City, Indiana; his son, Mark L. (Debra) Adnson of New Carlisle, Indiana; three grandchildren, Adam (Amanda) Hilberg, Staci (Brandon) Gadacz, and Michael (Jessica) Adnson; seven great-grandchildren, Lola, Mason, Zoe, Max, Jonathan, Carter, and Emily; three sisters, JoAnn Bush of Chesterton, Indiana, Verna Jean (William) Rehlander of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, and Cleo Kaminski of New Carlilse, Indiana; one brother, Leon (Judy) Adnson of Hudson Lake, Indiana; and one brother-in-law, Jack Wagner of New Carlisle, Indiana.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. E.S.T. Monday, January 15, 2018 in the New Carlisle Community Church.  Burial will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. E.S.T. Sunday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert Street, New Carlisle, Indiana. A visitation will also be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. E.S.T. in the church on Monday.  Earl was a 1950 graduate of New Carlisle High School.  He had attended Indiana University South Bend for two years.  Earl served in the United State Marines Corp.  He was a member of the New Carlisle Community Church, the American Legion Post #297 and the Terre Coupee Lodge #204 F & AM Masonic Lodge.  Earl loved to play golf and spend time with his family.  Memorial Contributions may be directed the New Carlisle Community Church or Hospice House of South Bend.
