Carol M. DeLalla Obituary

Carol M. DeLalla, 77, of Thompson Station, Tennessee, formerly of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on January 24, 2019. She was born on December 11, 1941 in East Orange, New Jersey, to the late William and Evelyn Jones. On July 3, 1965, she married Vincent T. DeLalla, who preceded her in death on October 11, 2008. Carol is survived by two daughters, Donna VanKirk of Elkhart, Indiana, Deborah (Aaron) Eisele of Portland, Oregon; one son, Vincent W. (Heather) DeLalla of Thompson Station, Tennessee; four grandchildren: Tom, Tyler and Carly VanKirk and Zoey Eisele; and one brother, Henry Rayfield of Paramus, New Jersey.  Carol was a very loving grandmother. She enjoyed her time in Tennessee and loved Country music, especially Conway Twitty. Visitation for Carol will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend, IN. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). Online condolences may be left at www.kaniewski.com
