Sandra M. Ridenour

Sandra M. Ridenour, 73, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 10:50 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2017, in Memorial Hospital.  Sandra was born on May 15, 1944 in South Bend to Zigmund and Geraldine (Starczewski) Walowski, and was a lifelong resident.  She had been employed at Healthwin Specialized Care for many years as an L.P.N.  She had also worked as a private duty nurse.  Sandra is survived by her husband of 52 years, Carl B. Ridenour; her daughter, Kim (David) Ozuna of Dallas, Texas; three sons, Carl (WenPei) Ridenour of Seattle, Washington, Michael (Rosa) Ridenour of Jerez De La Frontera, Andalucia, Spain, and Kevin (Rebecca) Ridenour of South Bend, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Charlie and Max Ridenour; Guillermo and Daniella Ridenour; Adam “A.J.” and Sophie Ridenour; and Claudia Ozuna.  Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Zigmund and Geraldine Walowski; her granddaughter, Molly Ridenour; and her brother, Sigmond Walowski.   A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.   Sandra was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Parish.  She received her L.P.N.
