Pauline L. Sheeley

Pauline R. Sheeley, 90, of LaPorte, passed away on Sunday July 9, 2017, at Miller's Merry Manor, New Carlisle.  She was born on August 28, 1926, in New Buffalo, MI, to the late Frank and Dolly (Edinger) Nagel.  On March 31, 1946 she married Eugene J. Sheeley, who survives.  Also surviving are her daughter, Diane Prestin of New Carlisle; her son, Gary Kyzr-Sheeley of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Shaun (Cindy) Prestin, Brandon (Jen) Prestin, Catherine (Cory) Kegeris and Glenn Kyzr-Sheeley; and four great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Brooke Prestin, Isla Prestin and Pippa Kegeris.  Mrs. Sheeley was a member of the Maple Grove United Methodist Church, New Carlilse and the 44 Club.  Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. EST Thursday July 13, 2017 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert St., New Carlisle.  Services will follow at 1 p.m. EST in the funeral home, with burial to follow in New Carlisle Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.  To send online condolences, please visit www.kaniewski.com.
