Patricia N. Wolf, 86, of New Carlisle, Indiana went home at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 in Hamilton Grove Retirement Community. Patricia was born on December 6, 1930 in South Bend, Indiana to Russell and Bonita (Flemming) Humphrey. She had been employed with the South Bend School Corporation as a Teacher's Aide. She had also worked for Sears Roebuck and Company, Hamilton Grove, and was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital. On September 25, 1948, in Olive Chapel Church, she married Walter H. Wolf, who preceded her in death on July 7, 2005. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Walter H. "Cubby" Wolf, II and Timothy A. Wolf; her brother, Berwyn Humphrey; and her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Christy L. (James W.) Ebersole of New Carlisle, Indiana; her daughter-in-law, Sandra K. Wolf of Osceola, Indiana; eleven grandchildren, Wendy (Jimmy) Surgeon, Tina (Jason) Colglazier, Susan (Brian) Kniola, Peter Wolf, Megan (Joseph) Aquino, Brian Wolf, John (Barbara) Wolf, Joseph Wolf, Larry Cox, Lisa Wolf, and Lynn Wolf; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Carol Roberts of Indianapolis, Indiana; and her adopted daughter, Mary Clark of New Carlisle, Indiana. Funeral Services will take place at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2017 in the Northwest United Methodist Church, 21855 Brick Road, South Bend, Indiana. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana and from 10:30 until 11:15 a.m. Monday in the Church. Patricia was a 1948 graduate of New Carlisle High School. She was a member of the Northwest United Methodist Church, Sweet Adelines, and the American Legion Post #297 Women's Auxiliary.
