Martha M. Fetterer

Martha M. Fetterer, 95, of New Carlisle, passed away on Friday July 14, 2017 at Miller's Merry Manor, New Carlisle.  She was born on November 26, 1921, in New Carlisle, to the late Henry and Josephine (Mrozinsk) Krycki and was a lifelong area resident.  On September 19, 1942 at St. Joseph Church in Mishawaka, IN, she married Howard F. Fetterer, who preceded her in death in February  1972.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Howard "Joe" Fetterer on August 7, 2016 and by two brothers, Edward and Chet Krycki.  Martha is survived by her daughter-in-law, Judi Fetterer of New Carlise; three grandchildren, Jeff Fetterer of Columbus, IN, Tim (Amy) Fetterer of Middlebury, IN and Shayna (Gary) Kinny of LaPorte, IN; six great-grandchildren, Kourtnee Kelley, Betsi Mireles, and Trace, Dane Lucy and Joe Fetterer; a great-great grandchild, Jaidyn Pereyatkowicz; and by a brother, Alvin Kreske of New Carlisle.  Martha was a 1940 graduate of New Carlisle High School and attended Saint Mary's College for two years.  She was a member of St. John Kanty Catholic Church, Rolling Prairie and Ladies Sodality.  She enjoyed gardening, polka dancing and was a lifelong fitness enthusiast.   Visitation will be from 12 to 2 PM EST Wednesday July 19, 2017 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S.
