Marilyn A. Botka, 84, of South Bend, Indiana passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 24, 2018. She was born on March 31, 1934 in South Bend to the late William Sr. and Annette (Lukaszewski) Goralski. On September 10, 1966, she married Ervin Botka, who survives. Marilyn is also survived by two daughters, Lisa M. Klowetter and Sheri Luczkowski, both of South Bend, Indiana; one son, Kenneth (Barbara) Klowetter of South Bend, Indiana; two grandchildren, Brandon Luczkowski of St. Peters, Missouri, and Nicole Luczkowski of South Bend, Indiana; and one brother; Daniel (Sharon) Goralski of South Bend, Indiana. One special survivor includes her grand dog Gilligan. Marilyn was predeceased by one brother, William Goralski Jr. She worked at Wilson Brothers in the box department, and the University of Notre Dame, where she worked in the laundry and dining room. Marilyn was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and going to the casino. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Corpus Christi Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn’s honor to Corpus Christi Catholic Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
