Justine O. Kroll

Justine O. Kroll, 101, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 11:02 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.  Justine was born on June 24, 1916 in Akron, Indiana to Courtie and Eva (Krieg) Weller.  On November 29, 1941 she married Joseph Michael Kroll, who preceded her in death on June 17, 1989.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Loy Rae Kroll; her son, Mark Christopher Kroll; and eight siblings, Wilma, Lena, Wayne, Gerold, Rex, Bernice, Courtie Jr., and Charlene.  Justine is survived by her son, Gregory Michael Kroll; five grandchildren, Tanya (David) Telban, Erika Hill, Terry (Mary Sue) Austin and Chrislyn Austin; and three great-grandchildren, Kristina Telban, David Telban, Jr., and Lillian Telban; her sister, Millie Lotridge of Niles, Michigan; and her brother, DeVerl (Anita) Weller of Niles, Michigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in St. Matthew Cathedral.  A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m.  A visitation will also be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the church.  Memorial Contributions may be directed to St. Matthew Cathedral.
