Johnnie A. Gross

Johnnie A. Gross, 65, of South Bend, passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 18, 2017, in his home.  He was born on October 22, 1951, in Goshen, IN, to the late Charles Wesley and Dolores Mae (Bothe) Gross and was a lifelong area resident.  He is survived by his son, Jerry A. (Cecelia) Gross of Niles, MI; his daughter, Jeanne (Shannon) Fulks of Middlebury, IN; six grandchildren, Brooke Polly, Timothy Polly III, Brayton Gross, Rylie Gross, Kristian Fulks and Braylin Fulks; and by his sister Linda.  Johnnie worked as truck driver for over 50 years, working for both Klink and MDS trucking.  He was an avid fisherman and loved NHRA drag racing and tractor pulls. He was a graduate of Northridge High School.  Most of all he loved his grandchildren and was very proud of his kids.  There will be no services, cremation will take place.  Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children at www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org.  To send online condolences, please visit www.kaniewski.com
