Geri was always so welcoming whenever I visited South Bend. I stayed in her home several times and she did everything to make my stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. Geri was a woman so far ahead of her time. She loved telling me stories of her work during WWII and how she designed her house. She loved talking about Ray and the many years she cared for him. I was a great admirer of hers - how without question she gave up years of her own life to provide her husband with care that only she could give him. Rest in peace Grandma Geri.

Grandma
I can't bring to tell you how much it hurts to know that you are no longer with us but I know that you are in a better place. I can picture you up there meeting grandpa with hugs, kisses, laughing, dancing and just catching up on what's been going on with all of those that loved you. You will forever be in our hearts and I know that you will always be watching over us. It's true what they say "every time a bell rings an angle gets her wings", well you got your wings today grandma. We love you so much
