I just learned of your dad's passing. I am very sorry for your loss. Earl was a kind and good man and I always enjoyed talking with him whenever our paths crossed. We kept in touch on matters regarding the NC News after I moved to FL, but lost touch over the last few years. You were blessed to have your wonderful parents. I know you miss them both dearly. Thinking of you all with love and warm wishes.

Earl and I had some wonderful golfing memories!
I remember how he always was able to see the good in everybody---in all situations.

Leon,& Family ..Im so sorry for loss of Earl ..He was one of a kind very special friend .Always welcome you at church with a smile and hug. I and KayLee adored him very much at Church every Sunday . Very caring man and friendly .We are surely going to miss him. God rest his sole.Ur whole family is in Our prayers. May God always be in the time of need. I am so sorry for your family's loss. Mr. Adnson was a kind man who always wore a smile when I saw him. I hope that prayer (1 Thess. 5:17) brings your family comfort during this time. He will be missed.

Sincerely sorry to hear of Earl's passing. I worked on his wife's genealogy for Earl at the LaPorte Library. I got to know him over those months. What an extraordinarily nice man he was, and so devoted to his wife's memory. . Saw him at the library a few times after that. A true gentleman. And I always got a hug from Earl., which I was glad to return. My own husband was Earl's age and passed away Nov 30 in LaPorte.
